High-protein foods are all the rage now-a-days, and for good reason. Consuming high amounts of protein provides a multitude of benefits such as muscle growth and repair, the prevention of muscle loss, weight management, and boosted metabolism. Finding proteins that are high in protein, but low in calories can be difficult, though, especially when it comes to caffeinated drinks. However, I’ve got the simplest tasty matcha latte recipe for you that is not only delicious, but also contains 26g of protein!
Protein drinks have always generally been a hit or miss for me. Many simply don’t taste that great, in my opinion. My life has changed since discovering Fairlife Protein Shakes which, in my opinion, are the best tasting on the market. To maximize my protein intake, I swap out my almond milk for Fairlife’s Vanilla protein shake with 26g protein. This cancels out the need to include any sweetener in my coffee or matcha latte because of the vanilla flavoring, which I love!
With this minor substitution, it’s made increasing the protein in my diet substantially easier. There are a multitude of flavors available so the possibilities and customizations are plentiful. Let me know what combinations you’ve tried!
